Current Research

My current research examines the social and political determinants of abortion attitudes in Turkey, combining large-scale survey data with in-depth interviews with healthcare providers. I explore how religiosity, political orientation, education, and socioeconomic status shape public opinion on abortion and how these trends have evolved over time. More broadly, I am interested in reproductive health, gender inequalities, and the intersection of politics and demographic change in comparative contexts.
