Sara Smith Sutker and Solomon Sutker Outstanding Student (Undergraduate)

Maureen Blyler Graduate Research Award
This annual award is given in honor of the best research paper by an Emory Sociology graduate student. It is offered in honor of our dear friend and colleague, Maureen Blyer, who sadly passed away in 2002 while pursuing her PhD at Emory Sociology. This award is made possible by the generous donations of Maureen's family and friends, and it has been conferred since 2004 under her name.
Martin L. Levin Scholarship for Summer ICPSR Training
This competitive award provides support for an Emory Sociology graduate student to pursue quantitative training. It is made possible by the generous donation of our good friend and colleague, Dr. Martin L. Levin, and it has been conferred since 2017.
Graduate-Student Teacher and Faculty Teacher of the Year
Emory Sociology prides itself on its excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching. Thus, each year it honors both a graduate student and a faculty member whose teaching records are outstanding, particularly in terms of classroom evaluations and the mentoring of students. We have conferred these teaching awards since 1992.
