Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD)
Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD) is The International Sociology Honors Society that celebrates outstanding majors in the discipline.
To be Eligible:
- You must have completed at least 5 courses in sociology
- You must have a minimum 3.4 GPA overall
- You must have a minimum 3.6 GPA in sociology
Eligible students are invited early in the spring semester of their junior or senior year and are inducted in April. If you are eligible, but do not receive an invitation, please let Dr. Jeff Mullis (jeff.mullis@emory.edu) know.
