Current Research:
I am broadly interested in the ways in which changes in identity and self affect outcomes in health and illness. I am particularly interested in mental health and illness, rare and complex diseases, and bioethical issues surrounding healthcare delivery. By taking a constructive-developmental approach, I aim to add nuance and complexity to existing social psychological paradigms. I am also the host of The Adaptive Edge Podcast, which brings the latest research in psychology and neuroscience to people's everyday life.
