Submissions Guidelines

We invite proposals for:

1. Individual papers

Individual papers involve formal presentations of original research by one or more authors, lasting approximately 15 minutes.

If accepted, individual papers will be grouped into thematically oriented sessions, each 75-minutes long.

Submissions should include:

  • name and affiliation of the presenter and his or her coauthor(s),
  • paper title,
  • abstract (maximum of 1500 characters, about 250 words), and
  • keywords.

2. Posters

Posters display ongoing research, works-in-progress, and results that lend themselves to data visualization.

A specific block of time will be designated for poster presentations. Posters should be no larger than 40 x 60 inches (101 x 152 cm) and in landscape orientation.

Submissions should include:

  • name and affiliation of the presenter and his or her coauthor(s),
  • paper title,
  • abstract (maximum of 1500 characters, about 250 words), and
  • keywords.

3. Symposia

Symposia offer scholars the opportunity to organize 4 related papers (or 3 papers plus a discussant) on a particular topic.

If accepted, symposia will be 75-minutes long.

Submissions should include:

  • symposium title,
  • name and affiliation of symposium organizer,
  • a symposium abstract (maximum of 1500 characters, about 250 words), and
  • keywords;
  • plus, information for each individual paper (as described above, except omitting keywords).
